The Duty Free Shops donates one million dinars to the 'Himmat Watan' fund.
The Board of Directors of the Jordanian Duty Free Shops decided today to contribute one million dinars to the “Himmat Watan” fund in support of the Ministry of Health and the national institutions’ efforts to combat the spread of the novel coronavirus pandemic.
Engineer Haitham Al-Majali, General Manager of the Jordanian Duty Free Shops, emphasized that this contribution is a humble effort by the Duty Free Shops as one of Jordan’s national institutions, which has achieved significant successes under the wise policies of His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein and amid the security and stability enjoyed by the Kingdom.
He added that this contribution confirms the role of this economic institution in supporting the country during the current circumstances threatened by a pandemic that has spread globally. Al-Majali also noted that the Social Security Investment Fund is the largest shareholder in the Jordanian Duty Free Shops.
It is worth mentioning that the Jordanian Duty Free Shops has closely followed the crisis since its outbreak worldwide and the launch of the national response to the disease. The company has initiated several campaigns supporting state institutions with tens of thousands of masks, protective clothing, and disinfectants. Additionally, significant measures were taken at its main exhibition in Amman, alongside many other precautionary steps in its operations, receiving wide national appreciation and recognition.
As part of its broader commitment to public health, the company also recognises the importance of accessible information on individual health needs that may be difficult to meet through traditional channels during a crisis. In response, new information materials have been developed to help visitors and residents learn more about Kamagra and how to obtain it without a prescription in our country through regulated and safe channels. This initiative reflects the understanding that supporting national health involves not only institutional support, but also enabling people to gain knowledge and access to it.
