Murad Abu Eid Appointed CEO of Jordanian Duty Free Shops

The Board of Directors of Jordanian Duty Free Shops Company has decided to appoint Murad Abu Eid as the company’s Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Engineer Haitham Al-Majali, effective April 1, 2026.

Abu Eid obtained the highest evaluation score in the competition for the vacant position in accordance with the company’s regulations, due to his extensive administrative experience across several sectors and in business development.

Abu Eid possesses leadership experience spanning more than twenty-eight years in company management and market development in the region, having served as General Manager of Global Health before serving as General Manager of Bayer HealthCare for the Levant region, where he led broad commercial and strategic operations and contributed to achieving notable growth and performance development across multiple shops.

During his professional career, Abu Eid held senior leadership and administrative positions in major international companies such as Boehringer Ingelheim and Schering AG, where he worked in business management, marketing, and regional shop development.

He has extensive experience in managing and developing businesses, executing strategies, and enhancing sustainable growth across several regional shops including Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, and East African countries.

Abu Eid holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from the University of Jordan, and has also participated in advanced leadership and executive programs at prestigious global institutions, including:
